Harto Arte Festival

Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico

Over 80 artists from around the world were invited to Morelia, Mexico and given the opportunity to paint murals throughout the city.

Taking place in November just after Día de Muertos, and having recently lost a pet, we created a piece that paid tribute to all the family pets that have been loved and lost. Four sides depict different scenes that all work together as one; a girl laying next to her dog, surrounded by flowers, specficially marigolds or cempasúchil, to further tie in the significance of the memorial aspect of the piece.
